On 30 May and 31 May 2026, Consul General Zhu Xinglong Attended the celebration of Sabah Kaamatan Harvest Festival. Thousands of guests including Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Datuk Seri Panglima Anwar bin Ibrahim, Sabah Head of State, TYT Tun Datuk Seri Panglima (Dr.) Musa bin Haji Aman, Sabah Chief Minister, YAB Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji bin Haji Noor, officials from federal and state administrations, foreign consular corps also attended the event.

Kaamatan Harvest Festival has developed from a traditional cultural event of Kadazan-Dusun to an important festival celebrated by all ethnic groups across Sabah and throughout Malaysia. This year’s Kaamatan Harvest Festival, under the theme of “Harvesting Unity, Celebrating Harmony”, has fully demonstrated the spirit of unity and collaboration in Malaysia’s diverse society.
