The fourth edition of the China-Sabah Short Film Competition, organized by the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Kota Kinabalu in collaboration with Kota Kinabalu Journalists Association (KKJA), has garnered much support and awareness in Sabah with significant increase in the number and quality of submissions. Meanwhile the competition also has brought out the best in filmmakers, who highlighted the enduring friendship between China and Sabah and preservation of Chinese cultures through their video shooting techniques and editing skills.

The organizing committee of the competition invited professionals such as local Director Katak Chua Soon Min to carefully select all the entries. The list of winners is now announced as follows.

Silver Prize: Malaysia's Riddle Solver（Ameer Arafat Bin Suriani）

Bronze Prize: A Letter to Grandma（Jacqueline Lim Boon Nee）

Best Editing Award: The Girl Who Lives in A Foreign Place（Goh Jia Qi）
